My Daughter purchased a little Vauxhall Adam from Alan and the service has been First Class would highly recommend Evolution Motors.

I was looking for a little run around purely for getting to the shops etc. I read the reviews which drew me to visit and i have to say it was a pleasure to deal with Alan, who was very informative, courteous and chatty regarding the vehicle I purchased. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. The car is immaculate and he deserves the 5* reputation that he has. We wish him well for the future.

Customer experience. Exceeded expectations

I have purchased many cars through the years, and can honestly say that the Clio we just collected from Evolution Motors is undoubtedly one of, if not the best presented and prepared I have ever bought. The level of detailing and preparation was outstanding. Everything that I had discussed with Alan relating to the car during our discussions was addressed and exceeded my expectations. Alan clearly takes pride in his work and the cars that he sells ensuring that they are of a high standard. My son is absolutely over the moon with his first car. Thanks again Alan, you know your stuff, you were professional, honest and communication excellent. The whole experience from my first AutoTrader online enquiry to collecting the car was 1st class. If it was possible to give more than five stars I would. Alan was brilliant. The car was immaculately presented and in beautiful condition. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Alan went above and beyond to ensure that even any previous MOT advisories were fully addressed and remedied, including putting on brand-new tyres. This is an amazing company that I would thoroughly recommend.

Really good buying experience from start to finish. Excellent

This was my daughter's first car, and Alan had the car (11 years old) in excellent condition, both mechanically and visually. Knew this model inside out having worked on and traded several of this C1 model over the years. So much so, he was able to offer very good practical maintenance advice. Even serviced and delivered the car for us. So far so good mechanically, and fingers crossed no issues coming any time soon. I would recommend Evolution.

Friendly, enthusiastic and down to earth - a great lad to deal with

My daughter was looking for a clean and tidy example of a Citroen C1 or Peugeot 108 - something with a full-service history that had been looked after. We saw a turquoise Citroen C1 and liked the look of the website and the good reviews. We met Alan the owner and had a test drive - the car was perfect for us and as described. Alan explained that the car had just come in and told us in detail what his plans were to get it fully prepared. We were impressed with his enthusiasm for giving great customer service and also for not selling on rubbish as he explained he’s worked really hard to get a good reputation. He’s very personable and likeable and showed us the set-up at Evolution Motors. It’s his business and the energy and drive for making it work really came over. He’s a mechanic too and a car valeted - he basically does everything with the cars - from choosing and buying to preparing and all the mechanics. He kept us fully posted about the progress, and when we collected the car we were amazed at how good the presentation was - it’s easily the best of all the cars I’ve bought over the years. Really impressed and very happy with our purchase!

Amazing car and has fantastic service

Alan is the best out there. Honest, reliable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, listened to what you were looking for and gave us exactly that. Such a professional service. Cannot recommend this business highly enough.

Great for 17-year-olds first car!

Delighted with car and service. Looking for a first car for my daughter, Alan had a good choice of similar cars with varying prices to suit the price range, and noticeably cars sourced for their low mileage and immaculate condition. Alan called me back when my first call rang out and I hadn’t left a message. The car itself was to have the alloys repainted and Alan allowed us to choose the new colour. And when found a minor fault, Alan was very knowledgeable and on returning from sourcing another car, stopped by and fixed the fault, at our house; being we are on the other side of Edinburgh it was not just around the corner. Overall, extremely satisfied with a great wee safe (new tyres and brakes) car for my daughter, that has a lot of running left in it, and would recommend any parent to look at Evolution, as well as anyone looking for personal service and value for money.

Buying a car from Alan at Evolution Motor Group was a breeze. Top-notch sales from a true car enthusiast. Genuine details, with reliable information, make it a great experience. It may seem at first glance that the vehicles are slightly more expensive than other used car sales however the car we purchased was definitely of higher standard than others we had viewed. Would recommend and we would purchase again from Alan in the future.

I had 2 cars out there, 1st one was Vauxhall Corsa & it was great 2nd car was Peugeot & it runs perfect. Also the customer service was good as well, I would recommend this place.

Outstanding customer service immaculate vehicle

Recently moved to this area and didn’t know any reliable garage. Looked at reviews of this garage and from the first phone call to picking up the vehicle, the whole experience was faultless. Alan excelled in everything he did for us and the vehicle was valeted to a higher standard than some main dealers I have purchased from. I cannot praise Alan enough and if you’re looking for a vehicle I can assure you Evolution Motors is most definitely the garage to purchase from, thank you Alan.

Decent and honest garage owner

We originally bought a first car for our 17 yo son from Alan last year and we’re delighted with the service he provided, the advice he gave and the car we purchased from him. Roll on a year and my son wanted to upgrade his car so we went back to Alan, explained what we wanted and he helped source it for us. He gave us valuable advice along the way and bought the original car back off us. Alan is a decent and honest owner who we won’t hesitate to continue to use for our car servicing needs for the new car. I would highly recommend him.
